A lot of Gwyneira's spells could be a mix of several schools. They will be listed under the one they most fit in. Due to her extremely old age, the list is quite large, and she is skilled enough to alter a few of them depending on circumstance. However, these are the bases of most of her spells, and the ones that she uses most often. The descriptions are kept somewhat vague intentionally, so that the spell's magicka cost and effects on a person can be altered to fit an RP.

Alteration
See more- Burden; Focusing on the belongings of another person, Gwyneira increases their weight by a certain degree at a short range. This spell is semipermanent, and requires only the concentration one needs to cast it. The effect varies greatly, from barely noticeable changes to massive ones, requiring less and more magicka respectively.
- Feather; Turning her mind to her own things- or, in some cases, those of another- Gwyneira casts this spell, taking off some of the weight and helping her to carry it. Once again, the effect will change depending on the amount of energy she expends.
- Levitation; Through constant concentration and a high cost of magicka, Gwyneira is able to alter the qualities of the air around her, enabling her to walk on it. It is not possible to maintain for very long, or to do any complex tasks while doing it, as it takes a high amount of focus.
- Lock; Just as the name implies, this spell is used to seal any door or container with a non-magical lock without the need or use of a key. The higher quality the lock is, the less energy this spell requires.
- Repair; Putting her hands over an object and bringing the broken ends together, Gwyneira mends them, putting what has been broken back to how it should be. Depending on the strength of the material and the severity of the break, it will take more or less concentration and energy.
- Shield; Gwyneira cloaks herself in energy, attempting to stop a certain kind of attack from reaching her. Fending off magic takes more effort than a normal attack, and to her, fire protection is more difficult than ice protection. The spell varies in strength depending on what kind of shield she conjures, and its strength. It takes more energy than a Ward, as it is more specialized.
- Speed; Either to herself or another, Gwyneira makes it possible to go inhumanly fast. It must be constantly maintained, but allows her to cover great distances in short amounts of time. When she's walking with this spell, she goes at about a jogging speed, and when she's running, she's a blur. It also speeds up reaction times for her, allowing her to attack and dodge more quickly than normal. When casting on others, the heavier they are, the more difficult this spell can be.
- Unlock; Sending a surge of energy into a door, Gwyneira picks the lock, opening the latch and allowing herself to open it. Depending on the quality of the lock, this will expend different amounts of energy.
- Water Breathing; By changing the water's physical properties, Gwyneira enables herself to breathe it- this spell requires constant renewal, and uses more power the further she goes down. Depending on the type of water she is in, she will have to try harder to cast and maintain the spell.
- Water Walking; With concentration, Gwyneira enables herself to walk on top of water by altering its reaction to her and concentrating. While casting, it is a constant drain on her magicka, but not so major that she cannot manage it. Depending on the type of water, it will take a different amount of energy- she is most familiar with fresh water, and as such, has less difficulty walking on it.
Conjuration
See more- Ancient Frost Atronach; Gwyneira calls one of the many denizens of Oblivion to serve her, a column of frost appearing where she casts, following by the materialzation of this massive beast. Although the spell itself is not difficult, it can go wrong if she fails to control the summoned creature, which does take constant concentration.
- Bind; In this ritual, Gwyneira binds a summoned creature or item to a person or place of her choosing. Not only does this require a lot of magicka, it also needs the proper runes and full focus. It has a very high chance of going wrong, and is not a spell she performs often.
- Blade; By casting this spell, Gwyneira summons a ghostly, weightless sword into her hand. Its quality varies, but keeping it up in combat can be difficult, particularly if she wishes for a better weapon. It will not break, though.
- Familiar; Gwyneira conjures the spiritual form of an animal as a companion. Depending on the size and power of the animal, it will take a different amount of energy- a rabbit takes more effort than a wolf- and the animal's natural personality effects the amount of concentration needed to keep it going: to keep a rabbit from running away, she has to focus more than she would to keep a mammoth from doing so.
Destruction
See more- Blizzard; Summoning frost energy, Gwyneira attempts to gather a storm into her hands. She's very effective with this spell, like most Frost oriented ones, though it still requires plenty of energy and focus. She is able to cast it in multiple ways, depending on how she wishes to use it- general or focused, mobile or stationary, small or large... it's one of her more powerful spells. Not only does it take magicka, though, it also takes time- it's her longest spell.
- Cold Touch; Touching someone and focusing her mind, Gwyneira sends out a surge of frost energy. The spell typically operates by doing damage only, though she can alter it to do various things, such as covering them in a layer of ice similar to her own or thicker. Naturally, alterations to the spell are more difficult to perform than the normal one.
- Frostbite; Putting out her hand and concentrating, Gwyneira summons a torrent of ice and frost typically powerful enough to push the average person away, or at least stagger them depending on how much power she puts into it. Given enough time with this spell, she would be able to entirely cover someone in ice.
- Ice Cloak; Gwyneira conjures a spell similar to blizzard, but smaller in scale. It surrounds her, attacking anyone who comes within a few feet and causing more than a little damage. It's second only to Blizzard in terms of how long it takes to cast, but it can also be very powerful.
- Ice Shell; With this spell, Gwyneira further encases herself in ice, thickening the natural coating that already covers her. This is a slow process, but very effective against stoping a wide variety of attacks. While in this, Gwyneira is unable to attack anyone, though she does leave enough space for her to be able to breathe for a while if she can help it. The thickening begins at her hands, traveling up her body to envelope her arms and shoulders, going over her head and down to her legs. It is fairly easy for her, though does take some time to get both in and out of.
- Ice Spike; Gwyneira puts her hands towards a target and aims, typically making a thrusting motion with her arms for momentum. She summons sharp projectiles of ice, and launches them at people. The name is self explanatory. She can alter the size, shape, and sharpness of them, though by default they are similar to giant spearheads.
- Ice Wall; As a rudimentary sort of ward, Gwyneira summons ice in front of her to either temporarily or more permanently block off an area- more commonly, she uses this as a shield. It's more effective against physical attacks than a normal Ward, but takes more energy to cast.
- Spark; Much the same as other spells of this school, this spell is highly adaptable- she can summon it in a variety of ways, though typically it appears as colored lightning flying from her hands. Though it is more commonly used than a flame spell in battle, it is still not something that she appreciates overmuch and, as such, does not get used an awful lot, making it less familiar and therefore more difficult than it would be if she used it more regularly, requiring an amount of attention proportional to the form and strength she casts at.
Illusion
See more- Calm; First calming herself, Gwyneira focuses on a target, attempting to magically pass on the feeling of serenity to stop an assailant or soothe an injured or ill- mentally or otherwise- individual. Depending on the level of distress or aggression, this will take a different amount of energy.
- Candlelight; This is a very commonly used spell for Gwyneira- she casts and summons a ball of magelight that she is able to fully control, be it intensity, color, size, or location. It's not rare or difficult at all, unless she wants to light up a very large room.
- Courage; With this spell, Gwyneira tries to rally her allies, giving them a boost in morale and energy. It's easier if she herself feels brave, though still possible. As usual, the level of difficulty can widely vary from individual to individual.
- Fury; In an attempt to create a scene or gain an ally in combat, Gwyneira manipulates a target's emotions, causing them to feel a blind rage and attack anything in sight. This is the most difficult of her emotion manipulating spells, particularly if the person in question isn't particularly violent, and she has very little practice with it. It's unreliable, as the subject it is casted on will often turn on anyone and everyone, including her.
- Invisibility; Typically she casts this on herself, though she can put it on objects and other people. She alters the appearance of the target to be invisible, except to eyes skilled in catching the subtle disruption in the background that this spell causes. It's effective, but not perfect, and will wear off once the person it is cast on interacts with an object. She can, however, put it into a more permenant enchantment. Either way, it's a powerful spell, and, unless she alters it to be a weaker spell that only partially hides someone, it will cost more than a little bit of magicka.
- Muffle; Putting her hands over something- typically shoes, feet, and packs- she casts a spell that masks the sound something might make. Conversely, it can also keep sound from getting through something. Depending on what something is, how large it is, and how much noise it usually makes, she will have to use a different amount of magicka. It can either be sustained, semipermanent, or an enchantment
- Night Eye; By putting her hands over her eyes, Gwyneira casts a spell that allows her to see in the dark, though it does not let her see colors. It expends more energy than a simple candlelight spell, but is more private, as only she can see its effects.
- Paralysis; Touching something and focusing her magic, Gwyneira tricks a subject's mind, convincing them that they can no longer move. Affected subjects seize up, usually causing them to fall over helplessly, stiff as a board. This spells increases in difficulty with the subject's mental and physical strength stength; it's much eaiser to freeze a rabbit in it's tracks versus a charging giant, and an accomplished mage is harder to fool than your run of the mill bandit.
- Delusion; With some part of her touching the target, Gwyneira attempts to send feelings, thoughts, or words to them. She often has trouble with anything more than ideas and feelings, and the spell is difficult, mostly because it's hard to alter someone's perception of reality, which is essentially what she is trying to do. It's difficult but, with enough power and time, she can change everything a person experiences. Some concepts and experiences are harder to convey than other, such as names and things that she has little knowledge of. As soon as they stop touching, everything returns to normal. She can't maintain more powerful versions of the spell for very long. She usually uses it for silent communication, if at all.
Mysticism
See more- Clairvoyance; With a set destination or target in her mind, Gwyneira casts this spell, attempting to see the way to whatever she is seeking- or, seeing the item itself. This spell requires immense concentration, and isn't always the most reliable. When she is looking for the object itself she is very vulnerable, as she has to stand still and close her eyes. It's less dangerous to scry for her path, which simply leaves a trail of color towards her destination. She can share her visions by touching someone and actively trying to include them in the spell.
- Dispell; By casting this, either on a target or on herself, Gwyneira attempts to rid it of any magical effects. She can't get rid of any racial abilities, or blessings from any God, but she is able to unravel spells and even enchantments, if she focuses enough. This spell will undo both positive and negative effects. The stronger the spell or enchantment, the harder it is to get rid of it.
- Life Detection; Using this spell, Gwyneira gives herself or another the ability to see the life essences of any living creature within a certain range, barring any magic that makes this impossible. They show up as indistinct blots of color. Undead, anumunculi, and Daedra do not show up at all.
- Soul Trap; This spell's use is obvious- when she casts it, Gwyneira attempts to bind someone or something's soul to a soul gem that she might be carrying. With one hand holding the gem and the other used to aim the spell, she fires. If the spell hits, the target might feel a bit dizzy or ill, as being soul trapped is not a pleasant experiment. If the target is slain, and the appropriate gem is being used, she will have successfully captured a soul.
- Telekinesis; Gwyneira uses her mind to remotely manipulate objects without touching them- she uses this spell a lot. The energy and concentration required varies, but generally, heavier or sentient things aren't easy to lift.
Restoration
See more- Drain; Using this offensive spell, Gwyneira saps the health, magicka, or stamina of a target and transfers it to herself or another target. Typically, the cost of the spell doesn't make up for the gain in magicka, and it follows over to the others, though they are a little bit better- it's a handy spell, but not the most effective offensively.
- Healing; One of her most powerful spells, Gwyneira knows many variations of healing. She is able to close wounds, rid people of poison and disease, and cure just about anything short of death, so long as it is indeed curable.
- Sunburst; Calling upon the light of the sun and the energy of Auri-El, Gwyneira summons a bolt of light that will only harm members of the undead. It can either be shot directly as a bolt, summoned as a cloak spell, or cast as an explosion that fills an area. This spell has a very low magicka cost in comparison with some of her other ones, even at higher levels.
- Turn Undead; When this spell is cast, any undead that come near Gwyneira or her spell target will turn and flee until the spell wears off. It can be targeted or general, but either way it does the same thing. The more powerful the undead, the more difficult it is to turn them- liches take more effort than skeletons, and vampires are nearly impossible.
- Ward; This spell is maintained, needing to be cast constantly to actually do anything. It creates a barrier between the caster and any harmful effects, typically magical ones, though it can be altered to block physical attacks. It manifests as a shimmering, blue light. With enough work, Gwyneira can bind it to an area or an object to protect it without the need to maintain constant focus and endure a drain on her magicka.
